color guards
All ZCHS students are eligible for color guard and winter guard with or without prior experience. Color guard is part of marching band. Winter guard is a separate activity.
concert bands
ZCHS has three concert bands for freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior players. Concert band is open to all players.
jazz bands
ZCHS has two jazz bands. Jazz band is an audition-required group curated by Tom Landrum.
marching band
All ZCHS Bands and Color Guard members may participate in marching band.
indoor percussion
ZCHS has a percussion class and a competitive indoor percussion group. Indoor percussion is an audition-required group curated by Michael Rennaker.
